Healthcare software development has one job: support the people who deliver care without getting in their way. We build and maintain applications for care providers, hospitals and health platforms: patient portals, clinical decision support, data integrations between systems and secure document processing. Clinicians cannot work with a system that fails mid-shift, so we build for reliability first.

A patient portal is a secure web or mobile application where patients view their own medical information, make appointments and message their care team. It sits on top of the electronic patient record and shows a controlled part of that data. The hard part is rarely the screens; it is authentication, consent and what happens when a source system is down.

Under ISO 27001, role-based access, encryption and data minimisation are audited controls, decided at the design stage, so the software meets the regulatory requirements without making daily work harder.

For a care organisation, we built a hardware module and alarm system that detects whether an elderly person is in bed and when they move towards the edge. It raises an alert before the person is out of bed, so night staff do not have to walk every room. They go where they are needed and have time left for other duties.
